Heather Grubbs is a Principal on the Communications Team at GEM. In this role, she oversees both internal and external strategic communications initiatives for the firm. Prior to joining GEM in 2022, Heather served as Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer at Black Creek Group (acquired by Ares Management Company). Prior to her time with Black Creek, Heather was Vice President of Marketing for Fidelity Investments, focusing on sector and ETF investments. In addition, she held several senior positions at Janus Henderson Investments, Old Mutual Investment Partners, and Transamerica. Heather was a founding member of the Colorado chapter of Women in ETFs, an organization that brings together people across the world in the ETF industry to promote equality, diversity and inclusion. She received a B.A. in English (cum laude) from Boston University and an M.S. in Communications from the University of Denver. She also holds Series 7, 26, and 63 Designations.
